Elemental Forces Reception

Rolling hills covered in snow,

purple mountains reflected in the lake below,

Kansas skies painted with thunder-filled clouds,

and an old pine tree standing proud.

These are the sights of Associated Artists of Winston-Salem's upcoming exhibition, Elemental Forces.

Mark your calendars on March 7 for the Opening Reception of Elemental Forces at the Elberson Fine Arts Center. Garnering over 150 entries, a jury narrowed this exhibition down to just 51 incredible pieces. Artists were asked to submit pieces that excel in the fundamentals of art and interpret the complexities and wonders of our world. With such an abstract prospectus, we got some amazing pieces from over 30 local artists. At the reception, you will meet the artists, sip on some wine, have a snack, and watch with bated breath as the jury awards Honorariums for pieces particularly high in talent.
