Community Exhibits are not just a great way to get your art out of the studio and on display, but also serve as a wonderful community outreach tool for Associated Artists. Through Community Exhibits, artwork is placed in front of thousands of individuals each month - many of whom would be unlikely to visit an art gallery. In some locations artwork is designed to offer a bright spot in an uncertain future, a peaceful vista in a medical waiting room, or an added compliment to a well-prepared meal.
Our partnering host sites enjoy the variety that Associated Artists members provide. By rotating work on a three month calendar, businesses are ensured a fresh atmosphere for both staff and clients throughout the year.
Community Exhibits are coordinated by a team of volunteers in tandem with a designated staff person. Interested artists are assigned a location and all information, including inventory sheets and display tags, will be mailed one month prior.
Whether you have 5 or 25 pieces, Community Exhibits is a great way to meet other artists and place your work in front of new audiences. For more information call the AAWS gallery at 336-747-1463.
