I started out as writer and artist and morphed into artist
and writer, with the one passion influencing the other.
For me, art is discovery rather than exposition, and
my subject matter and approach are primarily intuitive
and metaphorical. I love sensuous lines and intense color.
I have long been fascinated by eyes and a linear archetypal
face, both of which have expanded and evolved over time.
They usually play some part in the evolution of my paintings,
though their presence or influence may not be obvious.
Another character making frequent appearances is
a Little Flower, which usually represents me.
